Cookie policy

What this site keeps on your device, what it is for and how to remove it. There is very little of it: we use no analytics and profile nobody.

Google Analytics starts only after your yes, and you can take it back here any time.

What is here, in short. The site sets technical cookies - the ones that make it work - and uses Google Analytics to count visits. We use no advertising cookies, we profile nobody, and we neither sell nor pass your browsing to anyone for marketing.

The cookies we use

NameWhat it is forLifetime
sessionid Keeps you signed in to your account. Created only if you sign in. Until the session ends
csrftoken Protects the site’s forms against forged requests from other sites. A security measure. 1 year
django_language Remembers the language you chose. 1 year
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics: they count how many visits the site gets and which pages are read. They are there to tell us what visitors are looking for, not to recognise you anywhere else. 2 years

All of them are first-party: only this site reads them.

What the browser keeps aside

These are not cookies and do not travel with requests, but they stay on your device, so it is right to say so:

KeyWhat it is for
clc.claudia.thread A key that finds your conversation with Claudia again if you reload the page or come back tomorrow. It does not contain what you wrote: the text is on our server.
clc.prefs Your customer-area preferences: how tables are sorted and which filters you picked.
clc.place Which page of the customer area you were on, to bring you back to it after an action.
clc.news Which piece of the park's news you have already seen, so the window announcing it appears only once.

Third-party services in the pages

Two things on the public pages are loaded from servers that are not ours. We do not use them to profile you, but when the page opens your IP address reaches those servers, and you should know it:

ServiceWhereWhat it means
Google Fonts Every page The site’s typefaces. It sets no cookies, but your IP reaches Google.
YouTube /wakeboard/, /acquapark/ The park’s videos. YouTube may set its own cookies when the page opens.
Google Analytics Every page It counts visits and the pages read. It sets the cookies above, and your IP address reaches Google, which handles it under its own policy.

What these services do with the data is governed by their own notices, over which we have no control.

How to remove them

From any browser you can clear cookies and site data, or block them for this site. The site stays readable, but without technical cookies you cannot stay signed in and your language choice will not be remembered.

The rest

Who processes your data, what data it is and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy notice.
